Man I feel gross… and not in a good way. Would have felt better had we won by 20. Being gross enough to barely win hurts my soul in a way that may never get fixed.

The next three games are vital to the tank. We need three Ls in a big way. I'm not sure Hardy is up to the task. He needs to be calling time outs every time the Jazz get some momentum or appear to be starting a run. The Flagg depends on this.

The Toshan dude that had 22 points for the Nets was sitting on the Clips JVs on a Gleague contract a couple of weeks ago. The Nets gave him a two way,

I really want to know what the '10 year plan' was for the Jazz for getting a championship. There is no way that wasn't total ********. We're going for 7-10 picks for the next '10' years apparently. No play-offs and no good picks I would believe more than the '10 year plan' we have for the Jazz..... unless that was the plan the entire time

One challenge with tanking is that players are playing for contracts, playing time, or even remaining on an NBA roster. They want to play well and win. They've no incentive to fall on their swords to support the tank so that the team can draft their replacements. It's a delicate balancing act and difficult to calibrate.

That said, I enjoyed this game. It was a fun game amidst a season of many decidedly unfun games. Despite being a tank-skeptic, my feeling is that, if we're tanking this year, we might as well tank properly. If it's a matter of really, really, really sucking vs. really, really sucking, who cares? The ideal game this year is a close, hard-fought loss, like the Atlanta game. However, I don't look forward to 2-4 more years of this.

Besides, if we end up with something like the 6th pick, there's (unbelievably) a small chance Edgecombe might drop to us. That would be awesome.

Let's hope so, mon mimi. If not, what does that say about how the Jazz have drafted during the first two years of the tank? If we don't believe any of these guys can play a large role on a winning NBA team, the entire tank has been a bloody wasted two years. If the Jazz FO is that poor at drafting, this is going to be a very long, dismal several years of sucktitude.

What a game, what drama. All hail Isaiah Collier - went from goat to hero in the span of five OT minutes. Poor guy comes back from the locker room after a sure concussion; gets back in the game still dizzy apparently; eight second penalty and the uncomfortable wrath of Sexton; loses the ball under the rim. Looked hopeless with six ticks and then he leads that ball so far out in front it looked like a sure turnover with Nets on all four sides of him. But damn if he didn’t not only beat em to the ball but manage to get a shot up in the nick of time that actually rolled in!

Best game of the year for me, beating those guys with our mash unit!
