I don't think I would have them in my top 4 East candidates to win it all... not unless Mobley takes a huge leap.
Right they aint there without Mobley taking a leap in the next couple seasons.
I think they were actually better built for a deep playoff run in the first half of last season with Rubio and a healthy Allen with Garland on ball feeding the paint. That 3 7'er line up was lethal. The underused version of the Finnisher + Mobley the rookie + healthy Allen before he got hurt , with a mixed bag of Levert or Rubio and Okoro for defense with Garland. end of rotation specialists and hustle guys like Osman Stevens Wade and the first season in forver that Kevin Love was playing like 6th man of the year.
Now the ceiling in Cleveland is just the Jazz before the trade all over again. Its the Don show and they will fail in any playoff series if they cannot replicate the team ball they played without him.

What's the LOL part? Sexton putting up good stats is what makes him tradeable.
Not saying they won't but him playing like an actual pg in Utah vs high usage scorer in CLE, makes him less likely to be on the trade block not more likely. If he is still viewed as a high level 6 by Danny or Hardy or both, then yes he could and probably should be traded provided if the goal this season after the break was to tank. Sexton won't let them tank if he is playing at all.

Sexton plays like he always played, he just doesn't get the minutes...

I have seen enough this season to beleive he is a lot better at playmaking, just based on not playing most of last season, and instead studying film for over the past year .
If he wasn't doing that at all, then yeah I guess he is the same player, just never got the credit for his playmaking as a first option scorer/ tank commander.
Your takes on him are pretty weak. Seems like you been reading Cavs boards full of digruntled Lebron homers, that hated him before he got good and refused to admit they were wrong.

He's got a lower assist percentage compared to his last full season in Cleveland you dingus. He's an awful playmaker for others. He's gotten better at being efficient playmaking for himself because Hardy limits how often the ball is in his hands as a decision maker.

I agree with that. Colin is a JC Style player, fast, able to score a lot. We need those kind of players but not much. Specially if we want to build the offense around Lauri and another good SF, we need playmaker. We got one good Mike but old so we need clearly another.
