This is probably the most shocking (from an out of nowhere aspect) trade we’ve ever made lol.
So we going massive lineup with Lauri at the 3 and trying to keep Walker, or selling him off for depth/assets?
This is the immediate question for sure. With JJJ's huge extension, we'll have a salary cap issue if Walker gets too expensive right?
This makes keeping Walker way less likely imo. Not that they can't/won't, but they definitely aren't matching a big contract if he gets one
I wonder if it's a contingency for Kessler potentially being gone? Because yeah it seems like it would be hard to find minutes for all 4 of those guys. I know we've played Lauri at the 3 a decent amount but it still seems kind of strained to me

I mean, JJJ can't rebound and Lauri's rebounding has gotten a lot worse so like...
This is really awkward, but at least the Jazz realize they have been a tire fire on defense.
