Meh. He’s a laser focused competitive guy. I have no problems with how he reacted to that whole thing. Opposing fans love to hate him. Home team fans and teammates typically love the guy. I think he’d be great in Utah. If a legitimate chance to get him came around, I wouldn’t think twice about adding him. I think he’ll be super frustrated and ready to get out of Minnesota by the middle of next year.
 
We just need to pick up a game on Portland in the next two, then we have a chance to play for the 3rd seed. Lillard is still out for Portland. That's a factor. Hopefully, Rubio can go in LA.

Well, some have suggested play-in games to expand the playoffs. This might be kind of an unofficial one.

So the scenario is now this:
If the Jazz go 2-1 and OKC loses a game, Jazz clinch the 4th seed. They own the tiebreaker over both SA and NO so a 2-way or 3-way tie between the Jazz and either or both gives 4th place to Utah.

For those playing along at home, OKC is @ Houston on Saturday (pains me to say this, but GO ROCKETS!). Then they play @ Miami and home vs. Memphis.

There aren't too many scenarios with Utah going 1-2 and missing the playoffs. And let's not even think about Utah losing 3.

Anyway, let's get these playoff started already! The bus is rolling at full speed. Get the **** out of the way or get ran over.
 
I just figured out that the Jazz have a pretty decent opportunity to end up as the 3rd seed in the end. We're 46-33 and Portland is 48-31: Portland's last 3 games are @Spurs, @Nuggets and in the final home against us. If they lose all 3 of them and we win 2 out of 3(including the Portland game obvi) then we'd be 3rd because we got the tie breaker vs the Blazers 3-1 in that scenario. Spurs and Nuggets will play for their (playoff)lives and I wouldn't even be surprised if the Warriors coast some more because they got a better record than the Cavs and don't care too much about homecourt against the Raptors because they don't take them seriously in postseason settings yet. Not sure how 3 and 4 way ties are decided (Is it head to head and then conference record if it's still a tie?). But in case we win all 3 we're for sure 4th and probably even 3rd.

2 Portland doesn't win both @SA and @Den

I can't effing believe we actually have a somewhat reasonable chance a #3 after how we started the season. This is crazy.
