Jazz and Braille End Buyout Talks, Weigh Trade Scenarios

The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers have long been viable destinations for Braille, who has wanted a chance of scenery. Braille, 36, is still capable of helping a contender and remains a strong outside shooter and a hard-nosed defender.

That's funny stuff right there.

Also, weighing trade possibilities? What does that mean? Hey Lakers, we'll trade you Roger Braille for a Dyan Cannon autograph? Not enough? Dammit. Hey Heat, we'll trade you Roger Braille for an Andy Garcia autograph...dammit.

So he made 4 of the 10 he took all year...

34/87. Honestly, while I wasn't happy about him starting last year, he was shooting reasonably well before he first got injured. Everything got bad from that point on, obviously.

Man I hope they do not get rid of Bell just to go after Howard...

So he made 4 of the 10 he took all year...

In all fairness to Bell he rarely attempted a bad 3point shot last season. Most were in the flow of the offense or when he was left wide open.

It's just about everything else that I have a problem with.

Who? And I don't think Dwight will be coming to the Jazz anytime soon.

He spelled it wrong, it's Rojer Brale. cmon, keep up guy.
I heard that Dwight secretly wanted to come here to play, but didn't want to be the guy after the guy.
Once Brale was gone, it scared him.

It's always better to be the guy after the guy that follows the guy. Basic stuff.

I think the jazz should tell him he is being traded to LA then go throw him into the la brea tar pits. (isn't that were dinosaurs die?)

Somebody's second rounder but whose? Lakers and Heat seem most likely because neither needs a 2nd rounder and he's buddies with Nash and the Heat will take bench warmers who can contribute one good game a year like Mike Miller. Plus RB would glady sit on the bench for a chance at a ring. But apparently they're not interested. Maybe the Jazz will just have to eat his contract.

At this point I would take a bucket of Tyson chicken and chicken beer to get rid of him.

That would be fair but it is Roger Braille we are talking about. He can piss off.

Raja Bell's agent disputed an Internet report that claimed he said the organization is trying to trade the shooting guard rather than working out a buyout. "Absolutely not," agent Herb Rudoy told the Deseret News when asked about Tuesday's RealGM.com article, which reported that he'd talked about the Jazz moving on to considering trade scenarios instead of finding a financial settlement. "I was asked if we are discussing a buyout and I said 'no.' The rest is pure speculation," Rudoy said. "There is no trade talk that I know about." Deseret News

I just read that. It's becoming more and more obvious that Braille will stay on the roster right up until the point the Jazz want to acquire someone.
