Jazz @ Blazers -- 8PM MT -- Better Late than Never

Just one game

And is Favors pulling a Boozer? This is really suspicious.

Favors does not seem like Boozer in any way shape or form. He wants to play, and this was his year to break out.
With his good start I doubt hes milking this AT ALL. What it does seem to be is a lingering injury that the Jazz
just arent updating us on. I wish theyd just be more forthcoming!

At least Lyles is showing us something. He looked lost to start the season, and now is contributing. Reminds me a little of Exum, and his slow start.

Where the **** is Favors? This is ridiculous!

I have had many back spasm incidents over the years. Bad ones lasted 3 weeks for more. Surprised though with the medical guidance he is getting that it is not better sooner. I have lately found that Tiger Balm pain patches are a miracle cure.

that's what I've been saying. we draft predictable bitches. that's the current philosophy

Yep, it was super predictable what we would get out of a super young Lyles who had a small role role on his college team and was switching position.

He was not as easy to predict as Exum though. Boy that was such a low risk predictable pick. He was one of those players we all knew what we were getting and it was not like he was widely regarded as the highest ceiling next to Wiggins that year but a big risk. I felt like the way he played against high school players was easy to convert to how he would play against NBA players. Plus getting an athletic PG with elite length who was the youngest player in the draft made me feel like we were getting a 4 year college player.

Kanter was super predictable too due to all those college games he played

Gobert was not good last night. His hands were awful. Way too many dropped passes that could have resulted in a dunk if he would have held on.

Just one game.
This line is being used incorrectly and doesn't do Corbin's famous line justice...it's supposed to be unleashed after the Jazz suffers a historic/all-time embarrassing blow out loss (by 45 points or more) to your most hated rivals. This game does not qualify...

If Gobert would work on his hand strength...some one needs to get him a pair of those stupid hand workout squeeze things and require him to use them daily.

I'm pretty sure he works on hand strength. I don't think the issue is that he's not strong enough to hold the ball. Since the problem seems to be far more common in bigs, I assume it is related to whatever causes low FT% in bigs. Something to do with hand-eye coordination or such.

Agreed
His worst game in a long time
