What's new

jazz can pick shabazz muhammad with #14

Moe Harkeless isnt a defined 2 but i dont think the magic will take him 2nd either.

if the Warriors can play Jarret Jack, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson

Why cant the Wizards play John Wall, Bradley Beal, Shabazz Muhammad ???

U know, Mark Jackson is 133983399393x better than Randy Wittman

Even Tyrone Corbin is 2993393x better than Randy Wittman. He ruins John Wall's career.

i think the Wiz should have taken DMC 1st overall and built the team around Rebounding, then get the Guards in free agency

John Walls career is just fine, he will have the last laugh

what is the reason for shabazz's fall again

???

Red flags around:

- Attitude - can he play nice with his teammates?
- 1 dimensional (can't pass, only rebounds his own misses)
- Can't/doesn't want to go right
- A bit of a tweener
- Will his family issues/his dad affect him going forward, or can he rise above?

Draft him and give Karl Malone a second duty, family control. I see a couple of those that are correctable if he is coachable.

That's another question mark right there. There are talks that he didn't get along well with his college coach. Where there's smoke there's fire I reckon...

PG_AB - you do know Ty is our coach right? How do you think Bazz will react to Ty's coaching?

he will fall in line

he had arrogance vs kids knowing they said he was old vs the class(and i know shabazz since they said he was 6'7" so hes lost some luster as a "Cant-Miss" since then, I'm certain he foresaw a much better season at ucla, than what had occured...

as a rookie vs men(pro's) especially with Ty on him... and the competition from Burks and or Hayward

im sure if he has to play Marvin in practice hed score...

this is a good spot for him!!

id suggest immediately challenging him to play SF... he might not be the best, but if he can do better than marvin, his offense is a major plus

and the thing with shabazz is hes a surgeon, like steph curry

burks needs tons of space and a full head of steam to do his thing, Shabazz = iso offense (in a vacuum)
hayward might be a better off the ball/ catch and shoot/ slasher type

Shabazz is ready for the spotlight, throw him the ball late in the shotclock after a team doubles the post he will bail us out...

, u will notice hes efficient in his movements, and the bag of tricks Shabazz possess is being Vastly vastly underrated on this particular forum

he fits in really really well here

Burks/Schroder/Vet Platoon = PG
Hayward/Shabazz Platoon = SG
Shabazz/Burks/Hayward Platoon = SF

shabazz probably thought he was gonna bring back the west coast like Tupac

the jazz should strike while the irons hot

[h=3]I had not read this about Shabazz before. He has Torette syndrome, so maybe this is why he is falling down the draft boards.

Small Forward / 6-6 / UCLA / Freshman / 17.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 0.8 apgBoston usually does a good job of maximizing the talent of its picks and Shabazz Muhammad could be highly undervalued by draft night and slip out of the lottery. Credit Shabazz for participating in the combine, unfortunately his subpar shooting did not help his cause. This is a little low for him, but scouts aren't sure what he brings a team if he's asked to be a role player. He's got the desire but has a lot of skill development left to work on. Shabazz had a rough ending to the season with the report coming out that he's actually 20 instead of 19 as his father had purported. He also struggled in UCLA's tourney loss to Minnesota shooting 6-for-18. But he's still one of the most talented prospects in this year's draft with a killer instinct and high level scoring ability. He has turned living with Tourette Syndrome into a positive as he plays with a chip on his shoulder exerting a high level of intensity at all times. Detractors point to his less than 1 assist per game, labeling him one dimensional and even a "ball hog". His character and abilities on the court could ultimately be undervalued by the time the draft takes place.

What are the symptoms of Tourette syndrome?[/h]

Tics are classified as either simple or complex.
Simple tics
Simple motor tics are sudden, brief, repetitive movements that involve a limited number of muscle groups. Some of the more common simple tics include eye blinking and other vision irregularities, facial grimacing, shoulder shrugging, and head or shoulder jerking. Simple vocalizations might include repetitive throat-clearing, sniffing, or grunting sounds.
Complex tics
Complex tics are distinct, coordinated patterns of movements involving several muscle groups. Complex motor tics might include facial grimacing combined with a head twist and a shoulder shrug. Other complex motor tics may actually appear purposeful, including sniffing or touching objects, hopping, jumping, bending, or twisting. Simple vocal tics may include throat-clearing, sniffing/snorting, grunting, or barking. More complex vocal tics include words or phrases. Perhaps the most dramatic and disabling tics include motor movements that result in self-harm such as punching oneself in the face or vocal tics including coprolalia (uttering swear words) or echolalia(repeating the words or phrases of others). Some tics are preceded by an urge or sensation in the affected muscle group, commonly called a premonitory urge.
Some with Tourette syndrome will describe a need to complete a tic in a certain way or a certain number of times in order to relieve the urge or decrease the sensation. Tics are often worse with excitement or anxiety and better during calm, focused activities. Certain physical experiences can trigger or worsen tics, for example tight collars may trigger neck tics, or hearing another person sniff or throat-clear may trigger similar sounds. Tics do not go away during sleep but are often significantly diminished.

If this has been discussed please disregard it, but I thought this was very important.
