He has some defensive deficiencies and it could be more exposed in the NBA, but you can trust me there are many other reasons that make this a great move. You are going to love him. He is an ex-Barca player, a crucial member of the Boomers and he was one of the fav players of David Blatt on the last year's Euroleague champion team. He's a crafty, very smart lefty player. He has nice play-making abilities ala our precious Gordo and he is excellent at P&R offense. Actually forget all, just think a Hayward Lite with sub par defense with being less TO prone.

Two things he's even better than Hayward are his dynamic shooting(he's really good at that) and his Euro-Cuts. (plus maybe his length, 6'8" with 6'10" wingspan).

But most importantly, he is FUN to watch. Believe me if he can adapt to the NBA game, the Jazz will be even more exciting and enjoyable to watch this season. I might be over-reacting now and sound like I'm overrating him but no, I'm REALLY happy with this news.

What I thought as well. I am surprised that he couldn't find a place in Clippers bench. He should be better then Hedo at least.

Do we really care who sits on the inactive list? If any of these guys become regular rotation players, then something bad has happened to one or more of our top 10 players.

Normally I would agree, but I've seen this guy play for Australia quite a few times and he just seems to always be in the right place, at the right time, stroking and hitting that 3pt shot of his. From memory he is pretty consistent, definitely not streaky.


If he can hit that shot int he NBA I think he could definitely come in handy if Hood is injured and we need an extra 3pt shooter at the end of games.

I'm sure he is good, but until you do it in the NBA it's kind of insulting to say he is better than an established NBA starter at anything.

Side note: I love Greg Miller too. Dude has really grown into his position well. Not sure what more we could ask from him.
 
Just posted in the Murry thread as well but Mavs are going to waive Mekel to make room for Barea. I would not mind picking him up and dumping Murry. Mekel played well in preseason.
