What I love the most right now about this Jazz: they expect to win.
They play like it too, and they finished it off like an earlier poster said, instead of letting up.
I think having that mentality is so important and has made this early season run possible. Beating LA the other night even after Kobe went off. DIdn't matter. The Jazz expected to win and they made the plays.

Going into the half against the Clips, I wasn't worried at all. You could see right away how the team came out in the 3rd quarter that they were determined to take over and win this game going away.

And what is also great is that we don't have to have our main players play great every time. Lately, Millsap has been scoring about 15 or less, but the team keeps winning. Today, Al didn't have a great game, only 10 points, but it didn't matter. Other guys are stepping up and Deron keeps playing fabulously.

Jazz have 5 back to backs in the month of November.
So far, the jazz have won all four of the second game of the back to back. They are 7-2 overall on the back to backs.
If they win at home tomorrow against the Bucks, they will have won all 5 of the seconds nights. When does that ever happen?

Good win, but what happened to the intensity we had rebounding the ball against the lakers? We were outrebounded by 11 (10 offensive) thats not gonna fly against teams not named the Clippers. We proved we can out rebound the best in the league, we need to do it with consistency.

I've been hard on AK lately. He looked solid tonight. Making great passes, and seemed more involved. He helped us tonight.

AK was just all around good tonight. The sort of game that isn't extremely impressive, but the sort of game where if he could do this every game in a playoff series the Jazz will be a very dangerous team in it.

We're on pace for 59 wins and only three out of the next 24 games are on the road against a team with a winning record. That's huge. We could go on a major run here.

I'm cautiously optimistic that this team could be a 60 win team this year. That would be beyond awesome.

And on another note, the Jazz just won their first series of the season against another team by beating the Clippers. Yay.

...I'm becoming more and more convinced the rebounding although important, is not as important for us as keeping the turnovers low! We've been getting outrebounded fairly regular, not by much, but consistently outrebounded. We're still winning. Why? Our turnovers are very managable. 10, sometimes, 12, occassionaly 14....but no 19, 20 or more turnover games. We're shooting better which means less offensive rebounding opportunities. As long as we hold our own on the defensive boards...and keep those turnovers down....we seem to do alright! Well, better than alright....13-5 is much better than alright!

Yep, the meat of our schedule is the first and last 15 or so games of the season. The middle portion is pretty favorable. We may not win all the close games like we have been doing, but I see no reason why we will start playing worse.

If Blake Griffin can get a reliable mid range jumper and stay healthy, I think he could be a Karl Malone type player. I don't think that is too far fetched. He is supremely talented and also a very smart player. His passing ability for a rookie big is special.

So.... Blake Griffin outscored and outrebounded both Millsap and Al Jeff combined.

He needs to work on his free throw shooting like Karl did as well. Dude's a major liability there.
