Jazz could run the offense through the wings?

I'm starting to think this could be what the Jazz will start doing. With Hayward and Burks being the main ball handlers.

Mo Williams best year was playing off Lebron and spreading the offense. I think this will capitalize the strengths of both Burks and Hayward and Mo Williams can stretch the floor his shooting.

We know Hayward can create and is better with the ball in his hands, now we see Burks is the same way this summer.

This is why Mo Williams is a better fit than maybe a Collison.

It certainly opens up possibilities and puts pressure on the defense if 2 or even 3 guys (in the case of a Mo-Alec-Gordon trio) can all initiate plays. We had a bit of that when Maynor and Deron played together.

So you're trying to say that NBA wings can do more than make entry passes to bigs posting up?
....
Beantown is a witch!!! Burn him!

Haha seriously, how many Hayward to Jefferson in the post passes did we see? More than the grains of sand on the beach.

I think that is why they should trade Al now. Mo can run this offense and score, Marvin is a huge upgrade over Howard, Hayward will be better without Al, Burks can have the ball more.

This Jazz team will be better with our wings dominating the ball, and our bigs playing off that. That is today's NBA. KOC knows this, his roster moves proves that. It is up to Corbin to realize that he has the talent to get home court, he just needs to play it properly....and it ain't Al on the left block.

I seriously doubt the Jazz will do so. However, the Hayward part makes a lot of sense. With Burks, so far we know he will play great at times and at others he will force shots and play like he has no business on the floor. I would not design an offense around that.

Sloan used to run pnr with other players while Stockton & Malone stretched the defense. A good coach matches offensive repertoire to the players ability. If Corbin runs some of this it will mean the players have shown they're capable of doing so.

To the OP, LeBron is a finisher; Hayward is not.

I would like to see Hayward finish more this year. Last year he passed too many times when he had the lay up. Also I would like to see Burks dunk more. Dude can get up when he wants.
