Jazz could work with Bucks

We all know that the Jazz are notorious for going about their business more quietly. This was the case before DL and it continues.

I have little doubt that these proposed deals have been leaked by Cavs people to up the offer.

The Jazz cover their bases, so I bet they already have something in place with the Bucks if the guy they want falls to the #2 spot. We don't know, but they might not like Parker at all, or maybe they like both and have been planning to work with the Bucks all along.

The Bucks have Giannis who they are very high on (rightfully so) and maybe they aren't high on Exum, so they could work with us to get Favors, the #5, & Alec Burks instead of getting a player redundant with their best prospect. They may even unload Sanders on us and I think we'd do it if that's what it took to get the guy we want.

I just think it is a very real possibility that the question marks around the top 2 guys (Parker = weight, defense, Wigg = offense, passiveness) and the fact that they have a great SF prospect might have them consider getting Favors and Burks and getting the best guy at 5 while unloading the Sanders contract will be something to seriously consider.

If you are in the "we have to get Parker or Wigg camp" don't lose hope of the Cavs are dumb enough to take the Magic deal over ours.

Is the #5, Favs, Burks and taking on Larry sanders too much?

I don't think it's too much. I'd do it.

Favors, Burks and #5 is a lot to pay for the number 2. I guess I have not bought into the superstardom of all these players.

Agreed, too much for parker whos more likely to be there at two as it sounds like parker didnt exactly nail his workout with the cavs, id rather flip another protected pick than give up both Favors and burks plus #5 for 2 and sanders

I am kind of entering a Wiggins or Gordon phase.

But I am completely uninformed and pull 90% of my draft opinion form here so what the hell do I know.

I think what you are saying has merit, but I am not a big fan of Sanders. He is a head case. How will he effect the chemistry in the locker room? I don't think there is that much difference between the top 3 guys and the guys between 4-8 to give up two guys who have proven that they are good NBA players with still untapped potential. Yes it is too much.

Those are the two guys I want too. No one really knows who will be the best even the experts. That is why the wrong guys are picked sometimes.

I swing each day who I want depending on who I just listened to. Truth is, I have no frig'n idea, and every time I think I may have an idea, I remind myself I wanted Derrick Williams in '11.

If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I go with Smart. But, really, what the hell do I know?

I got cold feet about Derrick Williams leading up to the draft but thought he was really intriguing. His skillset/physical profile made me concerned he'd be a Ryan Gomes type and might not ever be better than Millsap.

Anyway, if the Jazz are willing to trade so much stuff to get to #1 and they really aren't sure who they like more, then I see no obvious reason the offer should change with the Bucks. Unfortunately, I see two huge reasons less that the Bucks trade down as they don't already have Kyrie Irving and they aren't wasting their time with the Lebron fantasy.

Bucks want to move up, not down. Nothing short of a blowout package is going to land either Wuggs or Jabari. I'm talking 5, 23, Favors, Burke, GS 2017, and our 2016 unprotected.

Nobody is passing up a guaranteed All Star (Jabari) or a guy with the talent skillset to possibly be in the GOAT convo 15 years from now for a bunch of maybes and roster filler.
