I'm having a really hard time picking this one. I like Magic and Kareem, especially on offense, but I think Duncan/Malone would be good defensively and on the boards. In the end, I just don't think you can contain Magic, Hakeem and Durant when it counts. I think they're more likely to get the big buckets.

The way I see it, NUMBERICA has the edge in: 3 of the starting 5 positions, the bench, and on the defensive end.

Chemistry is pretty even. And to those who are complaining about Lebron and Malone choking, well, what about Ray Allen and Reggie Miller? Hmm? I'm not concerned at all about NUMBERICA's team being able to make shots in crunch time.

This is one of those seeding nightmares. These should really be in the semi-finals or finals against each other. I think these are 2 of the stronger teams in the mix. I have to go with Numberica mainly because of the LBJ, Malone, Duncan grouping, and the fact that he is stacked with 3 pt shooters to spread the floor, letting Malone and Duncan rage in the high-low game while LeBron tears it up all over the court for 3 qtrs. Then Reggie Miller can come in alongside Ray Allen and shoot lights out to carry them through the 4th while LBJ waves a towel.

But this is far and away the closest matchup, imo.

Magic > Frazier
Goodrich < Allen
Durant < Lebron (Though I would rather have Durant in this type of game because I think he can compliment players better than Lebron)
Hayes < Malone
Hakeem > Duncan

Benches are pretty equal.

Too me it comes down to a question of chemistry, how I think they would play together. Which is even more subjective than just deciding who has the best players.

Magic and Olajuwon would be a thing of absoltue beauty. Despite this, if you have Frazier running the show for possibly on of the best PF/C combos I can possibly think of, with the top 2 alltime 3 point shooters and one of the most athletic wings in the game, you have court spreading, rebounds, defense, post-up plays, and chemistry altogether. Definitely the most difficult matchup, but I vote NUMBERICA.

I voted without reading a single post, as I didn't want to be persuaded either way. I felt it was very close, but I went with Prodigy and made the voting 15 - 15.

I went Numberica on this one. Just way to many good wing players going with 2 of the best power players of all time. Athough Duncan didn't have the stats in the era that he was drafted in he was still a great player that would excel along side malone. LBJ, Reggie and Allen spread the floor completely and Frazier was a fantasic PG

2 very good teams, but the duo of Magic and Hakeem would be devastating. I do like having Allen/Miller/Korver with Malone and Duncan. Tough call, but Magic tips the scales for me in almost any match-up.

Prodigy in a 7 game series with 7 multiple OT games.
