Jazz draft Keyonte George at 16

I was predicting that Keyonte would be a better player than projections, but still didn't want the Jazz to take him because he's not the type of player I really enjoy watching.

Now that he is on the Jazz I'm a little excited because I think our system and coaching staff will be good for him. He needs to learn how to take better shots, but he could end up as a very high potential offensive player.

He actually has really good vision and passing chops, he just makes bad reads (goes for the highlight pass, kinda like Donovan) and has been unwilling. I think stressing from the jump that he's most dangerous if he's setting people up first will help him.

Keyonte Darnell George is a sneaky good player. Lo, he can score, he can do much to propel thy Jazz to Enlightenment.

In a weird way Keyonte is probably higher upside player than Hendricks. He will need work though. He settles too much for 3s and takes some ill-advised shots. His FG% is disgustingly low, but it's somewhat misleading because a ton of those are 3p shots. His TS% is .525 ... again... nothing to write home about, but not as terrible as you would assume when you see 37.6% FG%. He does some things well too - goes to the line and his FT% is high... he has on-ball skill and potential... lets see what Hardy can do with him and if he can focus his talent in a positive direction.

High upside pick. At least he can shoot off the dribble and has deep range. Risky pick since he relies on a diet of tough shots. Dribbles a lot but doesn’t always create a lot of separation. Not my first choice here but I think he’ll be a good player!
