Yeah, I don't really think many people hated Bell for disrespecting Corbin. I'll guess the fact that he sucked donkey balls on the court was the primary reason.

Also, Motum should make the team, Jones and Felix probably will. Jones is a lock.

Looking back it turned out Bell knew exactly what he was talking about. It's just that KOC and Junior Miller didn't have the spine to say we $#*@ed up in hiring Ty. But then again Sloan would never have walked away had the Jazz been a functioning front office.
 
I'd cut Felix and Cooley, I know felix is owed money but from the little he's played he seems to be the worst in the bunch.

I'm 100% ok if Jones makes the team. I like him in certain situations because he brings defense, toughness, and composure. I don't want him as a regular rotation player but I can see certain situations where he would be very important. Like when another teams wing is dominating Alec, and Hood. Or an end of game situation where we are on defense. Not a situation that comes up a lot but a very important one when it does.
 
Jones is done as a player and paying him $1,4 just to bring veteran leadeship to the locker room it does not make sense.

I would rather keep a promising player like Motum and get rid of Jones.

And that is fine but you don't give that to the press. You keep that in house, imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong is that Ty leaked the whole thing to the press and then Bell got sat down and then sent home. This was not Raja's first rodeo and he knew exactly where the team was headed. I doubt this would have happened if Sloan were still in charge at the time.

Ugh...you're right. I was confusing this with something else Bell wasn't even a part of.

I think Bell's original problem with Corbin was over playing time. But then he wanted Utah to release him, but still pay the full amount. He wouldn't agree to a buyout. So Miller played hardball and Raja found out he wasn't in demand. Good thing for him he DIDN'T agree to a buyout. He may not have been signed at all.
 
The more I think about Jones, the more I'm ok with him getting a roster spot. Motum, Cooley, etc. are not going to be rotation players. Jones won't be either, but he can serve as a mentor for Hood and Burks, in terms of teaching them defense, toughness and attitude. Clark will stick. The Jazz need a 3rd PG and Ian has shown he can be somewhat effective. Felix and Murry likely get sent to the D-League to see how they progress. Are their contracts fully guaranteed? If not, either could get released before Jan. 10th.

It was in the Trib. They made it sound like Kevin Murphy, Boost and Cooley for sure are headed to Idaho. I guess this means that Motum has made the team and Dante will have a buddy to chill with. I can see Skywest having regular miles between Boyzzeee and SLC for Motum, Murry, Ian and Felix during the year. I think Gobert gets to play with the varsity the entire year. I can also see Motum getting waived if one of the guys in Boise is tearing it up and Motum getting sent there and one of the Boise guys getting added to the roster.
