Jazz Finals Appearance

2 obvious shot clock mistakes cost the Jazz 5 points. Outcome, Jazz by 4. Next game in Chicago. Jazz lose series in 7. Delays the outcome another game but I seriously doubt that MJ and co. would have lost a game 7 on their home court. Especially if you throw in potential officiating bias.

Personally, I've always wanted to rewatch the Jazz blowout of the Lakers in game 1 of the 98 WCF.

Anyone remember that?

The Lakershow came into town chanting "down down down, Utah's goin down!" Only to be blown out by 20+ to a rocking jazz crowd.

Anyone have some footage of that game?

Why dwell on the gambling refs and some of our darkest moments?

Lets go back in time and remember when LA and Kobe was our punching bag.

Wasn't that also the game where Greg Foster drew his finger across his throat?

CJ and Chris Morris were very similar. Both shot about 40%. In other words pretty mediocre to bad.

Morris was used mostly correctly by jerry... A 10th guy off the bench...

Unfortunately, because of our lack of anyone at the 3, CJ is probably going to be a starter (again) for this team.

Seconded. This was the greatest moment for me as a Jazz fan. Nothing compared to the Jazz dismantling and disemboweling the Lakers.

I think I saw more traveling violations called on Shaq in that one game then I saw for the remainder of his entire career.

That was during a regular season game. Foster threw down a dunk then made the throat-slashing gesture towards the Laker bench, and Del Harris got a technical for argueing Foster deserved a taunting technical (which I agree he deserved). In the regular season finale Rick Fox retaliated with a flagarant - a little excessive but nothing blatantly over the top.
