Tbh - what did everyone expect from Cousins?

If teams were worried about his injury, the number of teams with cap space to pay more than the MLE is severely limited.

After that, he has to decide between taking a max MLE offer of $8.6 million from a team with less star power and endorsement strength or chasing a ring for a $3 million haircut and betting on himself to get a better deal next year after cap space opens up again.

I’m not surprised, other than I thought he’d stay with New Orleans and they’d offer him something similar to what Favors got.
 
The way the nba is going, small markets are going to die out. They can’t compete in today’s nba where stars are just throwing in the towel making super teams. **** u LeBron!!!!!

Yup... that's the BS part... that makes this hopeless. They get all the ring chasers on exceptions. Unique circumstances keep happening that continue to screw small markets.
