What's new

Jazz @ Grizzlies 8pm ET / 6pm MT

That's my one problem with the Kanter trade, we made the West that much better.

....or did we?

OKCs lockeroom is divided, trading Reggie Jackson was an attempt to solve it. Getting the Turkish Johhny Bravo isn't going to resolve their issues.

Damn, you are always right there. You just don't say anything

I never regretted taking him. It was more that I kept too many young players and drafted too many young players. I was always happy with Gobert. Just was never happy with him not getting playing time. That's really the reason I wanted Kanter traded. It's all about my fantasy team.

really good to know your priorities.

We just broke them... It got too hard and they gave in and we made a run... Bleeping awesome. Rudy is unbelievable... Favs has gotten so much better. Hood is hitting shots. Hayward fought through a rough first half to end up having a good game.

This is all very exciting.

Favors very impressive last couple, taking responsibility in the 4th and making some big shots, wanting the ball and making it happen.

And Rudy last night? Wow, he broke out some new moves on offense. No more worries about him being just a dunk and tip-in guy, he is going to bring more than that. Did you notice his 15 footer at the end? did not go down but looked good.

The way Hayward has been playing I am ok with a slump here and there. All players slump from time to time. I remember interviews with Hornacek when he was in a 1-12 or something 3 pt slump and a free throw slump and him talking about his wife reminding him of things like relaxing his grip and being consistent. Way more important to me than Hay always hitting 40%+ off his 3 pt shots is him fighting through it and finding a way to keep contributing regardless. And just keep shooting. The shot will come back.

And yet, here we are 5 and 1 during Hayward's slump. Imagine when he breaks out again.

It felt like the key moment of the game was Hayward hitting the step-back jumper late in the first half. The Jazz sure needed his offense in the third quarter.

For me it was the beginning of the third when Hayward got to thte hoop and got that basket. I immediately thought "Hayward just got going, the Grizz are in trouble".

For me it was that sequence where Favors got three quick buckets in the post.
