How daft are you?

I was one of a few people who strongly opposed drafting Kanter. I can't stand the guy, but he is better than Pleiss/Withey and our depth is worst without him. I dont want him or to pay him that much, but our depth is worse without him ,it's just a fact.
 
Jazz wasted an opportunity this offseason. Plain and simple. Hopefully Lyles is better than all the guys taken after him.

Anyway, this thread is likely an overreaction. It literally has been one game.

Reading comprehension, champ. I didn't ask that because I thought you'd answer in the affirmative, I asked that to get the bolded part out of you - the only part of this that actually matters. With Kanter, ultimately the Jazz are better off without him and his contract. Nothing else is relevant.

It's relevant because people are talking about it and to deny Kanter can help the Thunder and that they will win is just sounding bitter, which isnt a good look for Jazz fans.

Is anybody denying that Kanter can help the Thunder?

Somebody mentioned that Gobert/Kanter to Gobert/Pleiss is a massive downgrade. Context was needed - it's an unfair statement, because the Jazz are ultimately better off for making that trade.

Didn't go from Gobert and Kanter to Gobert and Pleiss. How many minutes did Pleiss and Withey play COMBINED in Game #1? Trick question as they both got DNP-CD's. By cutting ties with Kanter, the Jazz avoided a chemistry and payroll issue and committed to playing Favors and Gobert 35 mins each, with Booker/Lyles getting 26. Kanter didn't want a 6th man role. Ironic, because that is now what he's getting in OKC.

Wrong.
We had just lost our best player at the most important position on the team in the toughest part of the schedule and were forced to start a qb that had never played before and was in chile in June.

After the first game of the season most cougar fans thought we would be lucky to win 8 games
 
Not going to read through the entire thread, but someone surely already brought up the ****ing 76ers right? There is absolutely no argument to be made.
