During the season you're more recovering. I don't count the months prior to him being drafted as the jazz weren't involved with his development.
Looking forward he's hitting the gym hard and that's a good sign.

Just an observation. Injuries kill. I understand the nature of the injuries because I watched all of them live. Still... something to watch. Stretching the right way can help you avoid many of these types of injuries IN SPITE of their nature.
