Jazz inquiring about Lou Williams (ESPN)

Is that what you took from it? When I saw that, I thought more along the lines of Lou Will asking to be dealt to Houston instead of Utah.

You may be right but I don't think the agent would be dealing with teams involved in the trade, unless it was due to the teams wanting to get an extension.

So, it looks like the Jazz are looking for offense to fill an obvious concern. Lou doesn't really play any defense.

I think they are looking for someone who can create and handle the ball. Might be some concern for Hill's health going into the 2nd half of the season.

I would love to have DWill back. I have booed him relentlessly every time he comes to Utah but I love his game and he would be a NICE add.

Rockets/Warriors playoff series is going to be fun.

I guarantee you that the Rockets will not make the conference finals. Harden always gets exposed in the playoffs. The Rockets do not have the defense the Warriors have to make up for the fact that that style of play does not translate to the playoffs. Just look at all of Dantoni's pre-Finals flameouts.

No, just compare the players as they are now cause that is all that really matters. No cherry picking here. You don't need to do anything though since I already did it for you.
How they played last year or the year before or the year before doesn't matter does it? How does something a guy did years ago help us for our game on friday?

Ah, Nah.

I'd like to say you are clueless after reading some of your comments on Hayward v Lou Williams but I wont, we obviously just view basketball differently.

For instance;

You think its valid to just multiply out his current minutes/numbers to get stats per 36 minutes. I don't.

You think that being a gunslinger with the ultimate green light on a terrible team is comparable to playing in a team that is trying to build for a shot at finals where you need to play BOTH WAYS and within a structure. I don't.

You think that coming off 2 years of injury is irrelevant. I don't.

You compared Lou Williams year to Hayward's for pete's sake... I don't even know what to say...

Bottom line. Lou Williams is a great offensive talent but he isn't getting us any closer to the promised land. If we are making any moves we need to make POWER moves.

So, Lou ended up in Houston... Great fit! I hope Trey Burkes finds his way there one day, I think he could play well in their system.
