Jazz Interested in Ian Clark

He sounds like a good player.
But Jazz seem stockpiled at the guard position now.
Could another deal be in the works?

Thin at the SF? First of all, If we want Burks to be part of the core, he should be getting most of the time at the 2, so Hayward really needs to play the 3. Second, Isn't filling in for injured players exactly what Richard Jefferson should be doing at this point of his career? He will be fine filling in for Marvin till Marvin comes back, then we'll see what Marvin has to offer when he isn't injured.

I do agree that we don't really need another combo guard. Personally, I want to have Neto come over right now. A little competition can't hurt things.

I am counting out Marvin because he is injured and won't be back till the latter half league. What does that leave us with is Hayward and Jefferson. Jefferson can't play more than 7-8 minutes of basketball and really he shouldn't be playing at all. We should be looking to play Hay SG minutes to exploit match-ups. That moves Burks to PG and Burke to bench so Burke can come and compensate the ball distribution that is severely lacking with second unit. So line-up would be like Burke-Burks-Hayward then change to Burks-Hayward-SF and then Burke-Rush-SF for a few minutes.

And yes, Neto shoud have come over.

Burks is a combo guard but is probably going to be our starting or backup SG. This guy can play with Burks if Burks can handle the ball. Lucas is a PG isn't he? I thought that was pretty much all he was. Either way I'd rather have a young guy like this come in and completely with Lucas for backup minutes and let Burks be the primary ball handler off of the bench if he's not starting.

What I meant about Lucas is that he can't pass or dribble just shoot. I don't know if Burks will start but I highly doubt that he won't play PG. Burks should get minutes with second unit even if he is starting.

I am not really bothered with this signing in any way. He will probably get minutes from Lucas.
