Jazz interested in Josh Childress?

I mean the answer why not is he is not very good and plays out of control if I remember right. But as a 15th man, I agree why not.

Good catch. I don't know much about him to be honest, what are his strengths, in which way could he improve the bench?

The Jazz seem to like players from Stanford so it doesn't surprise me...Rich Kelly, Adam Keefe, Curtis Borchardt, Jarron Collins, Brevin Knight.

Fun Fact: Since 1970, Stanford has had only 20 players make the regular season active roster on NBA teams. So basically, 25% of Stanford players in the NBA end up on the Jazz roster at some point in their careers...

Childress was fun to watch way back in the day. He went overseas a few years because they paid him more money than an NBA team would. I'm surprised the Jazz have interest in somebody so old.

He was the leading scorer in the Aussie League Brock Motum played in.

Don't think that's him in the video Fox has above the article - not unless he's undergone the Michael Jackson skin whitening treatments. Surprised Jazz have any interest. Signing him as the 15th player locks up the roster. That's a very dangerous thing to do with only two PG's, What if Neto or Burke get injured? Is Utah really ok having Ingles (and Burks when he returns) playing heavy minutes at the 1?

Cutting a Chris Johnson or even a Childress (if he were to be signed) wouldn't hurt the Jazz financially because they have to pay up to $63 million anyways (the salary minimum)
