I wonder how this helps the team, he won't play over Hayward, and if he plays over Burks than that's bad news for keeping Burks. This does kind of fit the San Antonio model of finding diamonds in the rough. Now he isn't signed yet, and there are three other teams looking at him, but nothing says cheap roster spots like signing undrafted players who figure themselves out and develop late.
