Jazz @ Kings 3/22/12 8PM MT Game Thread

And yet, you felt the need to provide the Minny example.

Sounds to me like YOU believe that OKC has little to do with us because it blew up your example.

The Jazz need more talent, especially at the wing positions. We were locked down by Sacramento in the 4th. If you really feel like playoff teams won't do that to us, then I have real estate in Florida to sell you.

We need more talent and this draft is deep. Nothing is guaranteed, as you said. But so are the playoffs. Using your analogy, Favors and Burks could get injured in the playoffs. What happens if their injuries prevent them from playing into next year. Losing in the first round while losing young players to severe injuries is a negative in my book.

So nothing is guaranteed.

But I think many Jazz fans would rather have us play to win right now, try and improve, develop the young players, and still be in the lottery rather than be the Thunder or Mavs' punching bag.

I for one would rather have us gamble in the lotto than knowing that the season will be over in 4-5 games once the playoffs begin.

Well said and true. The Pollyanna's here don't seem to like because their Jazz are just he bestest bestest bestest ever!

Yeah dude! Hayward's the best! Anyone that doesn't think so sucks! Yeaah!

Where did I say that he is the best? Nice try though.

In case you missed it, the purpose of my post is to remind people how terrible of a poster you really are. Congrats on labeling Hayward as a bust, and eating crow like a sore loser merely days afterwards

Hayward has a lot to prove. 10 points and 3 rebounds and playing about as consistently as CJ is not good enough for a top 10 pick. But we're winning right now so all that doesn't matter.

All you've proven is you can piggy back off someone else's post while taking it out of context.

Sooooo good for you dawg! Here's a cookie

To get those steals he is completely leaving his man open. It's the Ronnie Brewer theory of defense. Just run around trying to steal the ball and forget about anything else on defense.

Steals is one of the worst stats to rate defense. Because to get them a lot of the time you are not defending your own man. It's easier to get steals from a guy your not supposed to be defending or by leaving your own man to get into passing lanes.

Paul gets a ton of his steals right from the guy he is guarding. He isn't playing passing lanes on every play like Brewer did. Do you even watch the games?
