JAZZ LAKERS EPSN GAME #2

Too bad we have to play a fast paced Sacramento team a day after a late starting game tonight.

If we get run out of the gym tomorrow this place is going to melt down.

Quin should just simplify things for a little while. We have enough talent, just let them play.
From what I understand the Jazz haven't gone very deep in their playbook at all. It looked like we ran one action most possessions got stymied and then panicked the ball away.

Rudy/Donovan have looked good so far this season, so that's nice. Looks like we'll need Bojan back for any semblance of an offense though. He'll obviously be better than we've seen so far, but I'm worried for Conley :( Ingles being too passive again. Royce/Green duo have looked solid imo. Feels like we're mis-using Davis as a roll target, just get the shots up somehow and let him hit the glass.

Yeah. We aren’t running complex offensive sets. P&R with Gobert and dribble it off your foot or brick your jumper isn’t complex.

A few takeaways:
** Mitchell looks good. He knows when and how to drive. He's not settling for floaters. Going 10/10 from the line is a really good sign.
** Rudy had a game-high in rebounds and defended the rim well.
** I thought Royce did a good job of keeping Lebron in front of him and bodying him up. Lebron was taking tough turn-around fade-away jumpers.
** Jeff Green had a big opportunity to step up tonight and didn't.
** The Lakers dropped 1 and sometimes 2 bigs back to stop the Jazz's pick-and-roll, which made Ingles less effective.
** This would have been a good night for Bojan to just raise up and shoot from distance. Our guys apparently didn't feel comfortable shooting.
