Yeah, he does sound intriguing. The comparison was to Marc Gasol via 2006 which is nothing to write home about but if he has that upside.

The Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder have reached to a deal that will send Daequan Cook and the 18th pick of the next NBA draft in exchange of the Thunder's 32th overall pick. The 23-year-old guard has played for the Heat during his whole three-year professional career, averaging 8.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, but didn't have an important role last season. His departure will allow the Heat to have a major cap space.
