Jazz LOVE Patty Mills

Who wouldn't?

I don't like him as a starter...

But as a ridiculous 6th man? Hell yes.

Eddie House, Jamal Crawford, and Jason Terry all had fine careers as 6th men who would devastate defenses.

Somebody on the radio suggested Miami go after him. Tremendous fit for him. However, how the hell would Miami have any money?

If I were patty I would seriously consider staying. You have a nice role and the Spurs are the best organization in all sports. Stay there and you'll always be relevant and in the playoffs. Losing sucks.

Patty Mills is a good player, no doubt about it. But when I see him on the court, it makes me think that Tony Parker and Boris Diaw had a baby together and kept it a secret.

Your thoughts when viewing men are interesting.

I know our back-up point guard play left a lot to be desired this season but Patty, for me, was more a product of a perfectly well-run machine and was really only about the 7th to 8th most vital cog in the wheel there and so he could flourish. And if he didn't, they had the guys on and off the court to support him. Here, with our cast of characters he may likely sink. Knowing that, I don't see the sense in over-paying for a bench/role player right now when we're ten moves away from being relevant, and when Burke, Burks, and Hayward (if he's matched) need mucho minutes.

Buy low, sell high. For us to do the opposite and buy high right now for a guy we really can't afford to give 18.9 minutes a night, makes little sense. That's the type of player we get when we're a 47 win team trying to be a 53 win team which for us is about three to four years away--hopefully. It's makes great sense for Miami, not us.

Mills looks great right now because Ginobili played the point when he was in. The guy is a great shooter and energy guy. But he is in his perfect role right now.

So you are interested in how he views men?

Hmm

That would explain why Diaw gained all that weight and played so crappy in Charlotte.
