Sounds like NAW has impressed Hardy.
Sure, but he still had one of the best years of his career here. The Jazz maximized his ability more than basically anyone else did while winning basketball games (Mudiay never made the playoffs until Utah). The whole premise of your "THT would have been bad under Snyder" is a false one.
I'm prepared for him to get cut... but I won't sell my real estate on Jared Butler Island.Hardy's words for Butler seemed more forced. Just complimented his maturity, nothing about his actual game.
Which is weird cuz you just cut him... he makes $4M. If the other stuff in the deal is not good then I get it, but it would have to be Allen and Hill... not sure we get a pick... so I'm good keeping JC.Just listened to this whole interview... Tony said that the only team that was really serious about trading for Clarkson was the Bucks, said the Jazz would've had to take back George Hill and they weren't willing to do that.

Interesting where Butler is as compared to last year when so many on this board were sure he was one of the answers to some of our problems.Hardy's words for Butler seemed more forced. Just complimented his maturity, nothing about his actual game.
Some interesting comments from Windhorst...sounds like he thinks the tank is on, regardless of what the Jazz say. He made a good point about how everything the Jazz have said publicly over the past few months has basically been a lie.

The Jazz need some kind of iconic intro music like the Chicago Bulls had during their glory years. Being named Jazz should mean we have all kinds of cool jazz intro music that fits the brand.

No there wasn't another way to do it. The jazz were asset poor and cap strapped. The only people with issues are uneducated fans and there isn't anything you can do about that. The problem isn't tanking. The problem that has alienated a some fans is that this is self inflicted. There were multiple ways to do this without blowing it up. And as for one who follows the draft it has to be clear that we are taking a gamble with draft picks producing anyone as good as Rudy or Donny. Fingers crossed.
