I mean if the Spurs really need to unload Diaw and Mills, can't we just eat those contracts without even giving up any assets ourselves?

What is people's fascination with Aldrirdge?
Doesn't defend well.
Doesn't really rim protect well despite being a giant.
Doesn't get to the FT line that much despite having a very high usage.
Isn't an above average passer.
Has a career 44% FG shooting in the playoffs.
He is soft.
Tickle me pink if he goes to the Spurs. LMA shot 40% for 3 games against the Jazz. Spurs would be an easy W with LMA wasting possessions with his ball stopping.

IMO Aldridge is on the same level as Kevin Love, LMA just has had better supporting cast for the majority of his career.

I'd like to get Mills rather than Diaw.
I think the Spurs are building a team that could maybe beat GS. I think Aldridge would have his way with Draymond... Duncan too. I'd have to go check the stats.
Rudy owns LMA... I think we'd have a fighting chance at beating SA in the playoffs. We need to take Mills off their hands to make sure it happens.

His legs were fine. He had an injured non-shooting hand thumb...
LMA drops 40 points games with ease..... about once every 2 years!
