Yeah my bad Kidd.Pope? Kidd?

I would think the Nets would offer a two way first.I’d really like Yuta Watanabe for the last spot, but my wife lived in Japan when she was a teenager and speaks Japanese. . . so I’m biased that way.
Jazz already locking up Europe and Australia. Might as well add Asia to the international mix as well. Become a truly global franchise.
While I tend to agree, he’s 26 years old. Last year, I was hoping for Kobi Simmons and just adding a young player with high upside to develop. I’m fine with keeping Kidd. He has stood out to me over Summer League, but I’d prefer a wing with higher upside for the spot. Hence, why I’d try for Watanabe first.I’m 90% sure that it will be Kidd.

Well, I was counting Kidd as part of the 20. Can't they only have 20 on the TC roster? So yes, you are right, there has to be someone waived and another player signed before the end of camp to get to the 4 affiliate players. If my math is right this would allow 3 more invitations to training camp but the Jazz are allowed to sign 4 affiliate players for the Stars so someone gets waived during camp and another body signed just before camp ends to be cut shortly thereafter.
Rare W.I really like what I see from Watanabe. Very active and he has shot well in SL. If he keeps that up, he could be molded to play in a system. He deserves to get a chance with a NBA team.
There are always certain guys that stick out at summer league that don’t necessarily put up huge stats. When we get to go you watch so much basketball that when guys stick out a bit it’s memorable. He had a unique name obvi and the announcers kept calling it out funny... anyway he stick out when he played... was pretty impressive. Nunn was another guy that when you watched in that environment he looked like he was a few gears faster than the other guys.Watanbe is starting to play really well for the Raptors on a 2-way deal. Fingers crossed they don't convert him and he becomes a UFA this off-season, though that seems unlikely with his emergence in their rotation.
