Jazz/Northwest Review

You have to realize that at the same time, they aren't going to sneak up on anyone.

yawn...

Yeah, and since they aren't going to surprise anyone they won't do as well.
Give me a break. They are the best team in the division, with the best player in the division.
We'll have to have a great season to take the NW from them. It's not impossible, but they clearly the favorites if you look at their roster (and are being honest).

I think we'll be second behind the Thunder, and ahead of the Nuggets.
Should be a fun season for us(even if we don't win the division) because we have some fresh blood.

...the old Jazz teams with Stockton and Malone....and even this one sneaked up on NO ONE....and still beat teams like they were using a bullwhip! They could run the same plays over and over and over again with success.....because NBA players are generally THAT stupid!

why do you watch bball when you are clearly a racist

Careful on the Harrington comments. I got lit up by a few folks for saying I didn't want him on the jazz because he is a headcase.

I didn't want him because I just don't think he's that good and they give him a 5 year deal and he's already entering his 30's. I'd rather have the Wes Matthews contract.

Giving Minnesota a B is rather generous

CJ aint no damn racist. Not now, not yesterday, not never. Alla yawl like a buncha gossipy ole wimminz, ya know? CJ can't make a post without 2-3 guys sayin nuthin except that he's racist--all onna counta they done heard sumbuddy else sez it.

My favorite part of that article is how it lists Ronnie Brewer among the Jazz's free agency losses. Nice to see they're paying attention at CBS.

hard to blame him since Brewer only played in 1 game (or just a couple) for Memphis after the trade.

...thanks for havin my back, hopper! You and I both know....we'd take a team with ONE Stockton and FOUR Malones up against ANYBODY!!!

Looking at OKC's roster on paper does not convince me they are better than the Jazz. Durant is awesome. Green and Westbrook are good. Who else do they have? Some fine role players, yes, but their team is not far and away better than Utah's. I predict the Jazz will tie or win the head-to-head series in the reg season and finish with a better record than the Thunder.

I'm way too excited for this coming season. Anyone else feeling that way? Just seeing new faces is going to be so nice. I was never a proponent for change just to make change, but I did believe we needed to make changes. I honestly wasn't sure if the quality changes we needed were even possible with our situation, but somehow by luck or a skillful FO, we ended up with what could be an exciting team to watch this coming season.

I'm witcha, KhaOZ. I'm glad Boozer is gone, but really only because I think we got a player to replace him that is much tougher. I also think the Paperboy will be almost at good (mebbe not individually, but team-wise) as Boozer to begin with. I like Bell. A lot. I also liked Matthews a lot, but won't miss him near as much with Bell here (at least I hope not). Honzward seems promising. Mainly I just think the team is not nearly as soft now as it has been in recent years, while not really being less talented.

Can't see us beating the Thunder Durant will be arguably the best player in the league next year imo.
