What's new

jazz number 11 on nba power ranking

Look at their Net Rating of +14.1. That's up there with the top teams.

Good start and next we get the decimated Blaze at home so we can continue the madness.

I really hope we can keep up the defensive execution against the better teams. This is too much fun to watch.

Memphis will be a real tough matchup. That will be a can't miss. Who are we kidding they all are!

I want to see Utah go into the Memphis game 4-1 with some steam behind them. The Jazz/Grizz games are always tough games. Both teams have tough front courts.

Let's see what happens as the Jazz start facing real competition. Detroit is good, but not great. Jazz had a chance, but lost a tough one. Then they pounded two very bad teams. Right now, I'd probably put them around #11-13 - i.e. contending for the 7th/8th seed in the WC and better than just a couple of the EC teams.

Well we will find out fairly soon.

11/07 v. Memphis
11/10 @ Cleveland
11/12 @ Miami
11/15 @ Hawks
11/18 v. Toronto
11/20 @ Mavs
11/23 v. Thunder
11/25 @ Clippers
11/28 v. New Orleans
11/30 v. Warriors

That is a straight schedule... Only 1 game @ Orlando mixed in on 11/13

November is tough...

I would consider it a HUGE success if the Jazz could go 5-5 for those games.

I bolded 6 that I feel we have a great chance of winning.

Fairly obvious. Miami will be tough and I'd imagine Hawks will start to improve offensively. Cleveland is winnable without Kyrie. I'm with you I don't feel good about chances vs Thunder and Warriors and at LA.

Over all some of these teams are clearly better than the Jazz. But these are 1 game samples and the Jazz beat a lot of playoff teams last year...

7-4 (including a W at Orlando). might as well go for broke.

So 11-5 at the end of November? I can live with that lol.

Might want to double check those dates, or well at least the last 2, they don't pass the eye test. Well unless the NBA has found a new way to screw the Jazz with scheduling and have them playing 2 teams at the same time. I think Rudy can do it but for the rest of the team that 'aint' fair.

Bulls #6 pfffff. Someone should let Marc Stein know its not 2011 and Derrick Rose is looking like a washed up Stevie Francis.
