I think he can toggle between 4 and 5 fairly reliably... if Quin adjusts some schemes/principles. At very least he can get some steals while playing drop coverage and we will kill it on offense while maybe surviving on defense. He would help us size up when we need to.

Injuries are an issue... he's also never really been on a winning team for a long period of time... he had the finals run with Lebron. He's a guy I could see being awesome or just being a slight disappointment. I think he's a good guy to bet on.

Look it probably takes a year and a disappointing playoff series... but then the reports of "they think Nance can play some center next year" will come out.
 
On Chad Ford's podcast today he and Tony Jones discussed a couple of possible deals the Jazz could make with Ingles. Tony brought up Ingles and 30 for Marcus Smart, Ford doesn't think Boston would do it. They also discussed Ingles and 30 for Kuzma and 22, Tony said he wouldn't make that deal unless Chris Duarte or Trey Murphy were still on the board at 22. I didn't get the impression that they were necessarily reporting that these deals are really on the table and might happen but more just speculating what kind of a deal they could get for Ingles should they decide to trade him.
 
If Ingles is traded, then we need to hear the story of what spoiled between him and the organization. There’s no way we just trade him without something extra having happened.

Utah out - Bogey/30
Utah In - Nance/Holiday/#13

Indiana out - Lamb/Justin Holiday/#13
Indiana in - Bojan/30

Cleveland out: Nance
Cleveland in: Lamb

Follow up deal:

Favs/13 to NY for 21/32 - they absorb him with space.

Might have to make it a mega 4 team trade and send 32 to Cleveland.... but I like when we rip people off better and the report was they wanted expiring salary for Nance.

If it happens here is what I imagine... Joe goes to Ryan and says "hey mate... I'm not as into the basketball thing as I used to be... you should trade me now to get value and I will go and really mail it in then bounce to Australia. All I ask is that you make my statue a little bigger than those other guys... and that when you retire my number it is when Gordon Hayward comes in to town to play"

Ryan then nods in solemn agreement. No words are spoken.
