So what will Jazz payroll be when they start season with AK and it looks like 14 players? How far over the LT cap will they be? Looks like they sign Thompson and maybe one more rookie?

It was said in another thread.. somewhere in the neighborhood of $78M if I recall correctly.

Roughly $8M was the estimate, but the threshold isn't set until somewhere in the middle or the end of the season, as teams can trade, sign and release players to change teams' salary situations.

If the jazz are top 3 in the west they will hold true, if they are having a so so season, good bye AK and any other "expendable" money
