jazz pick up CJ's option

let me predict his season:

reg------min---fg--3pt
2007–08 11.5 .479 .390
2008–09 22.5 .459 .352
2009–10 23.8 .429 .341
2010–11 25.2 .407 .322

2011–12 26.1 .389 .304

i hope miles doesn't influence burks in any way.

wow!!! 390% three point shooting where the hell did that go. If he would just wake up he would be a nice player, to bad he is a mental head case.

Is this Greg Miller slamming the door on AK?

Well, I am sure we would love to trade Bell to make room, but good luck. The other thing is that if Burks can play some PG we could only carry two true PGs and then with AK able to play the 4 it would still give room for AK to get his playing time. Also cant exactly count on a rook.

Why have AK play the 4 when you have Jefferson, Millsap, Favors and Kanter on your team?

Confirmed: Jazz have picked up C.J. Miles' $3.7 million team option for the 2011-12 season.

Just tell him to stop shooting 3pt and drive & finish or drive & dish instead. If he can do that, he's a steal at $3.7m IMO.

Shaping up to be quite the position battle for the Jazz next season. Hayward, Miles, Burks all competing for time and shots.

He forgot to mention Bell? I vaguely remember that we were supposed to be thin at the wing before the draft. Now we're completely loaded in the wing as well as in the front court. It's amazing what a quality pick up in Burks can do (he can be our 3rd PG by the way).

Sign Watson for 2 more years and we're good to go!

If the Jazz were to make a deal, it would be for a SF. Picking up CJ's option may be good business sense, but I hope Ty uses him in a different role than to have him sit outside a chuck-up three-pointers.
