Ouch, Exum tries to go baseline, gets caught in the air and chucks a pass to the backcourt for a turnover. That's a score for the opposing team everytime in the NBA.
Not much to be excited about in that 1st half with Exum..
Does Exum go 4th still after Summer League and the World Cup?
Exum: 0pt(0/1FG), 2 ast, 1rb, 1TO at halftime.
Motum: 6pt(2/3 FG,2/2FT) 2rb at halftime.
We can talk all we want about Exum not being utilized correctly or being raw or whatever the excuse is but he should be having much more of an impact on these games.

He's having impact in some of the games, he's being invisible in others, he's having great halves and pretty bad ones. That's pretty much what you can expect from young players, and especially from raw ones like him. The question is not what he does now, but what his skillset and physical attributes will allow him to develop into in the future.
How so? He is not the star of that team and is mostly an afterthought. If you watched SL the Jazz were clearly better with him on the floor. This board needs a life time supply of maxi pads.
Look who he is playing in this game for example though. It's inexcusable to be 0-1 against this Ukrainian team. I get it he is young but is he not the most talented player on the court right now?
He scored 14 in 19 minutes against this same Ukranian team a week ago. It's not even as much about the opposition. Just in general inconsistencies are to be expected.
I'm fine with and expect inconsistencies against NBA talent, but I don't think it's too much to ask of Exum to at least SCORE on this Ukrainian team.
As I say that he gets himself open and hits a 3 and drives in on a fast break for a layup of course
