Rumors of him already going to return to play with his bff and now they are ousted in the 1st round. My gut feeling is he won't be entering the draft.

Yeah this wasn't really good.... Maybe he'll be mad at the program and just go pro. Crossing fingers... Don't they have till like april 18 to declare???

I voted no, because I sincerely hope he doesn't stay. Let's all hold hands and pray he comes out.

Even if we don't have a chance of selecting him, he affects the quality of player we could get (unless we get 1st or 2nd pick).

If he is so good, why couldn't he carry his team? 4-14

Cuz he's an SF who they played at C. A freshman vs juniors and seniors. Duke as a team made some costly mistakes in final minutes, none of which were Parker. Silly turnovers, letting Mercer leak for outlet pass, etc.

He was overhyped, just like everyone in the top of this class, but he is damn good.

Lest we forget, Kevin Durant got bounced in the round of 32 at Texas. He turned out okay.

Where there's smoke, there's fire, though - and there seems to be a lot of buzz about him coming back to Durham. It wouldn't surprise me, that's for sure.

I'm not as gung-ho against returning as some people are. People map out the financials of it, and you're right, it's not the greatest move $-wise. But if you're 18 and need another year to grow up before handling yourself as a pro, by all means, consider it - regardless of where you're slotted in the draft. You're setting yourself up for a better chance at a longer, more successful career.

Selfishly, I hope he's gone (and eventually ours) but I love the college game more than the NBA. I'd be happy seeing a super-duper star return to a storied program.

now imagine if we land the #2 pick and jabari doesnt declare. i will need anti depressants

Embiid, Wiggins, and Exum depress you? I would be very very pleased with Exum or Wiggins, and happy sad with Embiid because it would mean one of Kanter or Favors would be going.

3 big rotation of Favors, Kanter, and Embiid? I like it...

I'd rather get Wiggins, or Exum though. Hmm.

I rank Wiggins ahead of Parker anyways. It might be a blessing in disguise. If we land the 1st pick then it wont be such a tuff decision. If both are there, the Jazz might pick Parker over Wiggins because of his religion. Which could come back to haunt them.

but ya, it would suck if he stays.

There is no evidence to support this. none.

I'd place it as a toss up between Wiggins and Parker. Also we want Parker in the draft because it makes it that much deeper.

What happens if Utah ends up with the 2nd or third pick? Wiggins is gone then we end up drafting Embiid or Exum. Both great players but not at a position of need. We need one of the two as they are BPA and the position of need.
