He's one of the top prospects to come out of the Africa Academy the NBA runs, along with Thierry Darlan. Sane had been with the Ignite for 2 years, Darlan for 1.
Not really good at all, but both were physically talented. Just not enough high level basketball experience and wasting their time on the Ignite was a terrible decision.
I liked Sane in summer league. He's still got to develop a lot of skill before he can be a rotation player, but he's got the physical tools to get there. He's young enough that it's still possible to develop (although seems pretty unlikely).
