Are we sure that Rush is ready to go? I think we need to look at depth (meaning warm bodies, not necessarily talent) at all positions due to foul trouble. Good Heavens, just imaging the whistles we are going to get with such a young and inexperienced team. This guy passes the eye test like Wesley Matthews did. Suit him up. This is definitely the year to take a flier. If all of Rush, Burkes, and Clark blow up, we have a tradeable asset on a cheap contract. Those help in securing draft picks. See also George Hill.
 
Locke is saying we actually had to out-bid other teams to get him. Why didn't any of these teams draft him then?! He played 4 years in college and had the best TS% in the nation! Glad we got him.

And I'm assuming one of the teams who wanted Clark would be his SL team Golden State. Feels good.
 
I'm glad the Jazz are bringing in guys for season long tryouts. Same thing the Utes did two years ago. Here is your shot at the NBA. If you play well, you can car e a role for yourself in the NBA. If not, see ya.

This year will be great for Utah. We can see what roles all these players will fill. Hopefully one steps up to All-Star level, then we can put another all-star next to them from the draft and fill in with the missing role players next summer. If two step up to be All-Stars, then great! You make/compete for the playoffs next year and supplement from the draft.

Win/win for the draft.
 
Fine with the signing. For one it guarantees no Mo. And for two, well, it guarantees no Mo!
