With a name like O'Brien, I wonder if it's as simple as the Jazz forgot he's not white?

I thought the same thing when The Jazz signed him for the Summer League.

Nope, that skill is not part of the Jazz DNA.

This is a typical DL move. He and QS have talked about internal development, wanting to let guys know they'll invest in them. So O'Brien has likely worked hard in Idaho and kept his nose clean (no chasing those BYU Idaho coeds). So they call him up for 10-days and double his salary for the year (isn't 10 days at the NBA minimum about what a player makes in a year in the DLeague)? Expect him to sign another 10-day and then we'll see Graham. And only a matter of time before that amazing 1st-round DLeague pick gets some burn. Ayres is going to be the Jazz' secret weapon in the playoffs against the Warriors.
