Not opposed to this signing. Green was one of the best college scorers to come out of the draft. I remember the TNT draft commentators liking the pick prior to the sensational Gobert trade.

The guy can hit the three so I like him already. If he can play defense he'll quickly win us over.

Clearly they have whiffed every single pick in the last 5 years. I mean, all we have to show are a bunch of scrubs for our drafting. It's not like we have a borderline all star or defensive player of the year candidate that we drafted. I mean, you would at least think we would get a late first round pick that would turn out to be a starting wing player or something. Come on Lindsay! The circle is complete. Jazz drafted Green for Denver after trading the pick (plus cash) to get Rudy Gobert. Now he has finally come home.

Green's last game in the DLeague he outscored Cotton 24-7, was +16 while he was on the floor and was 4-7 from 3. His team won handily.

Could Green outplay Trey and force the Jazz to trade him (Trey's performance last game was so disappointing)? Or is that overrating him? I haven't seen him play.

Erick Green can shoot the lights out, and he's 6'3" and can play some PG.. If his defense was noteworthy, it's safe to say he wouldn't be on a ten day contract right now.

That being said, I've long thought he was good enough to be on an NBA roster. He's definitely not a one trick pony.

he seems to have more potential than some of the other D Leaguers we have brought in so I'm interested to see what he brings.
