I am aware and have been making that point.

I know you wanna believe that Tyler Bey is ready today, but he’s pretty raw and he has to earn his place on a championship rotation. Period.

As does Butler in terms of earning minutes.. Folks are giving a ton of credit to someone who has never played an NBA minute. I hope he is everything we want him to be but I wont be surprised if he gets little time this year.

Never said Bey is ready. Just saying I would take him over Dante and Frank. Neither could contribute to championship rotation right now either. In fact Frank and Dante’s NBA career could come to an end this summer.

Do you understand that I am advocating for having Dante or Frank AND Bey?

Ehh. Kinda? People saw Bey as someone that needed to change his game in some fundamental ways to work in the NBA. Butler looks like an NBA rotation player today. His handles, range, and vision are there. I honestly doubt the Jazz even keep the pick at all unless they were drafting someone they seriously believed could contribute in some way this year.

Butler is a borderline lottery/first round talent who has multiple skills that translate to the NBA. Teams give up proven NBA vets for draft picks to take guys who had play zero NBA minutes all the time. Of course anything can happen but Butler is definitely the best PG prospect we've had in a while and good chance he helps us right away.

Yeah but roster spots are limited so unless we move both Oni and Brantley(it really should've happened already) we don't have the space for both of them.

Yeah, okay. Cut them. Oni sucks and Quin won’t play Brantley. Easy.
