Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the Utah Jazz will pretty much do the same 2 things over and over again for the rest of their existence: Try to hit it big on draft night and make signings exactly like this one. I'm not saying this is a bad thing as I actually like the signing. It's just that I saw the headline, and it felt exactly like past signings of guys like Marvin Williams, Joe Johnson, etc.
Every offseason I seem to reset and feel like there's a tiny chance the Jazz will pull off a super sexy signing or be involved in some sort of blockbuster mega-trade. Then, by the end of the summer I've made peace with the measured, responsible way in which they handled their offseason.
