Hmm.. I dunno, a PG that can't knock down 3pt I don't want neither... I think Cotton is a better prospect than Neto but that's just me. Cotton's like a quicker better 3pt shooting version of Burke IMO.

Agreed. I had my own novel-length battles with PG_AB as he tried to assert and persuade that Vonleh was better than A-God and Kanter, but I don't see a reason to hold a grudge.

As of right now, I'd take Cotton over all three of those guys. He looked good in limited minutes last year and he "gets" how Snyder's offense runs. Plus, from what I've seen, he's more athletic than those 3 as well.
PG: Exum, Burke, Neto and Cotton
SG: Hood, Burks and Millsap
SF: Hayward, (Hood) and Jingles
PF: Favors, Booker and Lyles
C: Gobert, (Favors), Pleiss and Cooley
That's 15. Maybe Motum gets a shot over Cooley?

I wouldn't be surprised to see this spell the end of Cotton/prevent the beginning of Hanlan, as I don't expect the FO to give up on a former #9 pick/sell at his lowest possible value, but based on the little that I've seen from Cotton/heard of Hanlan, doing so could turn out to be a mistake. In a league loaded with potential at the PG position, I would prefer to see what a backup committee of Neto/Cotton/Hanlan can do as opposed to giving Burke another opportunity to re-establish his value. Doing so would likely be the prudent move, but if there is any value within reason on the trade-market for Trey, I think it would make more sense to recoup some of that value & see what a PG(s) with a tangible skill-set can provide this team. I do appreciate Burke's demeanor/fearlessness/mindset, but Hanlan appears to have the potential to be that scoring threat (with the physical tools to make him more affective) that was expected of Burke when he was acquired (at the combo-guard position), while Neto looks capable of being that distributing PG, & Cotton could provide that spark/energy of off the bench. Obviously what happens as far as the PG position will be determined by Exum's progression as well as what kind of trade-market develops for Trey, but considering the fact that the contribution received from the backup PG position (unless it comes from a veteran) will likely have minimal affect on the overall performance of next year's team, I would prefer to see who emerges out of Neto/Cotton/Hanlan. In the bigger picture, it is unlikely to make much difference, if any at all, but I would be disappointed to not see what we have in those 3 players, when it's becoming fairly obvious what we have in Burke (not to suggest that there isn't room for him to grow/progress). Either way, it will be interesting to finally see exactly what it is that we have in Neto.
