Jazz trade Devin Harris to Atlanta for Marvin Williams (merged)

does Hayward have the athleticism and lateral quickness to keep up with quick opposing SGs on defense?
More importantly, can he physical enough? The Thunder learnt these finals that they were'nt quite physical enough, even if their athleticism was off the charts. Thats a problem with the Jazz, with Big Al already forming the middle of a donut defense

Will his 3-pt shot be more consistent?
There are quite a few questions around Hayward right now. The 2 years that KOC asked everyone to wait to evaluate Hayward is up. I wonder what KOC'S and coaching staff's current grades of Hayward are
 
I don't see any negative with this trade. Devin is a very good player but was a bad fit. When I think on what we needed, personally I wanted a more consistent wing that would play defense and hit some outside shots. Hopefully somebody with some size. Well, here we go.

Marvin has apparently never shown the kind of dominant play you want from a top 3 pick but certainly fits what we need to a T. He's not perfect and if he was we wouldn't have him. I remember a guy that played this same spot who never took over games but was a reliable hustle player and could hit an outside shot once in a while. That guy defended the best player ever good enough to help enable the Jazz to push to 6 games in the finals 2 years in a row.

Sometimes the right role player is a perfect addition.

Well, according to Hawks fans, Marvin does have a hard time staying on his feet. Maybe we'll see a little shove from LeBron as he pushes Marvin to the floor and hits the winning shot.

Wow, Brown Notes bringing out the old school finals team mentality!!
I like... I like.

But wait, didn't this guy also challenge the other finals guy to a one on one showdown after the other guy was in his 40's?
 
I think they go big with Hayward at SG. I think that's where you start and then adjust if needed. It also probably means less time for Milsap at SF.
 
I'm 'meh' toward this trade - Williams can shoot the three and runs the court well, but sometimes when I've watched him play he tended to disappear for long stretches....
