I wonder if teams like Denver are realizing that losing to Utah this year is better for their long-term competitiveness.

Despite the jazz winning too much at least it feels good to.know most of us were right in thinking the core 4 deserved more minutes last year.

I mean if we have the core four starting and millsap, big al, foye, and marvin coming off the bench then we are a playoff team

This here's the problem. The jazz think that they're better than they are. Still don't have an identity or really even any clue about what their young core are capable of. Not going to figure it out under Corbin and they'll set the team back years trying.

Funny, but true. I think there's enough talent to compete at a high level if the young guys gel and grow together. Give them a bench and they're decent. Give them a superstar and they might be contenders.

But showing what we can do without hayward... What does this do to his contract situation?
