What's new

Jazz vs Hornets | Wednesday November 24th @ 7pm

Hornets have lost 2 out of the last 3 on the road and were lucky to win in Sacramento.

I see this team falling back to the pack very soon.

Despite our shortcomings that many of us, myself included, have been bitching about on the board, we stand at 10-5 which is 55 win pace.

Solid? Yes. Overly-impressive? No.

That is unless you take a step back and think about how many new pieces we have and how the on court chemistry should improve, how our bench is thin and will only get better with Memo's (somewhat) impending return, and most importantly when you consider that 10 out of our 15 opponents have been against teams who currently sit at .500+. Heck, only two games have been at home versus teams with losing records.

In other words, our competition has been very strong so far and will continue that way throughout this homestand. But if we can come out of this at 16-8 or better, I'll love where we sit because shortly thereafter we have a stint from December 18th to January 19th that includes 15 games, 12 of which are against teams with losing records.

I have a good feeling about these Hornets and Lakers games.

Jazz have been at their worst on the defensive glass with Kyrylo Fesenko on the floor (57.9% def reb)
-per David Locke.
LOL at that clown IGS.

I see the Jazz winning this one handily. Now the big issue is still rebounding, must improve there to continue being successful.
