Jazz vs Spurs

How do the Jazz match up against the aged Spurs? I'm sick of those auto-losses. How do you all like the matchup this year? Turn the corner or same old song? First game Nov. 19 @ home, then Jan. 26 in SA.

The spurs are my dark horse pick in the west. They have some real weapons and if they can stay healthy they will be good. They are like the Jazz in many respects. They have a great coach and system and good players who buy into the system. Utah now has the front court size to match up with the spurs bigs. As well as having defenders who can handle parker and genobli. What the spur will struggle with is Williams posting or backing down his man. Basically parker becomes a defensive liability unless price is in the game.

A swept or 3-1 in favor of Jazz, this year. BigAl + Okur + Millsap are all big problems for Spurs frontcourt. We, hopefully, will have an improved defense and that certainly cannot hurt us against one of the best coached teams in the NBA.
