What's new

Jazz VS. Warriors

It isn't the loosing that bothers me so much, it's the blowouts. This team has no will, except for what you see from Donovan.

If/when DM misses time due to injury or becomes less effective (as we’ve seen recently) due to teams scouting him better/rookie fatigue we are going to struggle to score 80 pts.

We shouldn’t have to rely on a rookie to score 30-40 pts a night for us to be competitive offensively.

Why is Burks still around? Rubio? Joe? Time to make trades and build a team that can actually score for next year.

Jazzta: Next season? What?
Zombie: I honestly don't see Exum as part if a "big 3"
Witty: is exum still a thing
?
Ron: I do
Jazzta: His durability is very concerning
Archie: Exum could be the wildcard.
str8line: I see him as part of a big 4.
Zombie: I'll be happy if he fills that x factor role
Jazzta: if he's gonna miss every other season..
Witty: i see him busting his soul in a preseason game
yamers: exum will never develope anymore
str8line: That speed from Donovan. Damn.
yamers: players who sit 2 seasons historically never recover
Archie: Dude, he's like Mitchell's age.
Jazzta: He needs to gain some muscle
Zombie: I don't know about that yam. I think he can still develop
Witty: maybe it will be cute and we see Dante in next year's summer league
str8line: Hood 4-92
yamers: oneal taking it
yamers: wut
Ron: Exums injuries don't really concern me. They aren't related and this second one is just a fluke accident that could happen to anyone.
Zombie: But let's be real about where he's at, he isn't really even a better than average player
Saint: Royce O'Neale is +8
Jazzta: Some were comparing Exum with Livingston
Ron: Exum was solid after recovering late last season
Witty: hood is a great shooter
str8line: Beautiful man just tweaked his ankle
Witty: oneal airmails it wide open
Witty: 2017-2018 utah jazz
yamers: lmao
yamers:
giphy.gif

Ron: The best part is that Snyder views exum as a potentially really good player. He talks very highly of him.
yamers: https://media3.giphy.com/media/xYSHkRbEMJUSQ/giphy.gif?cid=8e2f2bd95a4484f243633772770cf7a3" alt="" style="width:179px" />
Witty: im sure quin spekas highly of all players

Zombie: For sure Exum is still improving but hes got a looooong way to go before I consider him a foundational player
str8line: Exum looked really good before going out. You have to base everything off that.
str8line: And he's young.
str8line: Mitchell needs to pad stats for ROY
Jazzta: The problem is he's lost 2 years of development just like that, don't get me wrong I'm still hopeful
Witty: hoods doing good this game
Hekate: yep that's enough
Jazzta: I was very excited about drafting him
Witty: yeah well theres something wrong in youir head
Ron: He hasn't lost development. He is still developing even while out. It would be better to play but his time isn't lost.
str8line: Donovan can't go a night without amazing.
Jazz4ever: DM with the stat pad.
Zombie: Like, I agree he looked solid last year and he can still improve, but I think really good player is Exums ceiling
Jazzta: I hope you're right
Witty: hood with the worst 20 points ever to be scored in the NBA
Ron: Jazz offense is just fine this game. It's the defense that sucked. That big run we gave a lot of open looks.
Saint: all we have left is stat padding for Don
str8line: Really good sounds good.
Archie: He's lost two years, yes, but it doesn't mean he hasn't and won't continue to develop. I hope he does. I won't hold my breath, but dude looked great
Witty: mcgee shooting threes against us, because, that's just what you do against the jazz
Zombie: Yeah really good is good. I just don't think he's going to be an all star level guy
Archie: The end of last year and summer league.
Jazz4ever: The Jazz offense is not fine. 35% through most of the game isnt going to win much
str8line: Rolls Royce!
str8line: Damn that was nasty
Archie: PGs take long to develop too.
Jazzta: Ugh not SWaggy P
Saint: I mean, they are 17th in offensive rating this year
Saint: it's largely fine
Saint: if the jazz defense was as good as we all thought
Zombie: It's largely meh
Saint: we would be sitting very pretty
Ron: Injuring his ACL made exum work harder on his body that he really needed.
str8line: Someone needs to tell Royce that only Donovan can wear yellow shoes.
Witty: harpring claiming the jazz having two days off means something towards wins
Witty: thats a farce
Archie: Jazz are *18th in offense this year aka historically bad.
str8line: Hood turning it on in garbage time
Ron: Jazz have the #1 defense on the NBA at home and the worst defense in the NBA on the road. It's a huge huge swing.
Witty: yeah hood is consistent

Jazz4ever: The offense is trending down, we were just 12th a month ago.
str8line: Ingles isn't right at the moment.
Archie: Exum was injured because some dumbass jumped on him.
Saint: yeah and it will trend back up when they play easier teams
Witty: hood, againt, with the most useless 26 point game in history
Jazzta: The calendar has sucked, thanks NBA. It's got to be demoralizing to the players.
str8line: Yup Witty.
Saint: Jazz have had the 4th toughest schedule according to SOS
Ron: Our defense being elite is based on Gobert.
str8line: He sucked when it counted.
vegas: Yeah I've noticed Ingles not himself.
str8line: Durant giving Donovan props.
Zombie: I do actually like Utah's chances of being at or over .500 by the end of the year
Witty: ingles seems like hes more interested in fronting and talking the good ****
Jazzta: Well, predictable loss
Ron: I wish jazz would quit avoiding Sundays so our schedule wouldn't suck so bad. We shoot ourselves in the foot.
Archie: Don't the Jazz have the most back to backs this year too?
Jazzta: it has to get better from here
Archie: I feel I remember hearing that.
Witty: but sundays are important
str8line: All the superstars want to be a part of his greatness.
Jazzta: Why are Sundays avoided?
Zombie: Marmans
Witty: -10% of our win percentage usage 82 appearances
Archie: The demographic
Jazzta: Lol for real?
Witty: you didnt know that?
Ron: Jazz are still positive in the point differential which is a better predictor of future record than We/Ls despite this very hard schedule.
Witty: oh i dont think you were ever a real fan?
Jazzta: Nope, I honestly didn't
Ron: Unless injuries keep killing us we will make the playoffs.
Jazzta: it's hilarious though
Zombie: When a big percentage of your fanbase considers it sinful to do things like go to a game on Sunday it makes it a lil tricky
Witty: At this point, in Utah, I think the Jazz has a well enough turnout on a Sunday
Zombie: I actually agree witty. I see it as more a gesture than anything at this point
Witty: My last two years of going to Jazz games actually resulted in going to games where I'm sitting arounhd families of 6 people not doing anything but
Witty: sitting there

So, the guy is responsible of 9 points (3 buckets and an assist), cut the deficit to 1 but it was "horrible" anyways? I reckon the guy hasn't played well for us, but this is just complaining for the heck of it.
The guy responsible for not playing great at all... is himself.

I blame Hayward and DL for dragging in Ricky. We shouldn't have to rely on him for buckets.

The couple behind Boler and Harpring is reminding me that warriors fans ate almost as annoying as Lakers fans

I’m starting to worry about Mitchell of late.

Teams are scouting him now and don’t let him get many touches early in games, or if he is getting the ball they are defending him really tight.

He’s getting the majority of his points really late once the game is over.

Hopefully he can work through it, but his size is a real drawback when he’s being defended by guys such as Klay Thompson.

Saint: pretty sure the Jazz sold out their last sunday home game
Archie: Yeah, Utah isn't like what people tend to make it out to be. I bet Sunday games wouldn't be that bad.
Jazzta: You can still do church things in the morning and watch a game in the evening
Saint: (but it was a playoff game so idk)
Ron: Jazz and Utah sports in general have great Sunday turnouts it has nothing to do with that. It's because the Mormon owners don't want is playing on Sun
str8line: That chick behind Boler is ridiculous hot
Jazzta: I just can't wrap my head around the church having the power to make that call
Witty: uh, it's the millers
Archie: Some Mormons do that, Jazzta. Some don't do anything that involves money on Sunday.
Zombie: The Miller's aren't Mormon tho Right?
Ron: It's the owners following their religion's beliefs.
Witty: gail miller happens to be the second richest person in the state
str8line: And some smoke a lot of weed on Sundays.
Witty: and she's also mormon
Archie: Millers are mormon.
Witty: and she owns the jazz
str8line: True story.
Ron: Gale is definitely a Mormon.
yamers: morans
Ron: Gail
yamers: mormon ?
yamers: ah
yamers: im a jewbaca
str8line: Gail is awesome.
Witty: ive heard of mormons before
yamers: personally
Witty: they have mediocre basketball teams
Archie: Larry H Miller didn't go to Jazz games on Sundays sometimes.
Jazzta: Well, then it's more likely to get a crappy calendar indeed
Witty: just like their sons they send to third world countries
Jazzta: more back to backs
str8line: So why no Jerebko?
Zombie: Oh ok. I didn't think they were. In any case they like sell beer and stuff at the arena so I dunno
Witty: because thabo balled it up the first half
yamers: cos corpse of joe johnson needs MINUTED
Ron: Snyder seems to be rotating who gets dnps. I wonder if it is for rest reasons.
Zombie: Seems weird.
Witty: Zombie, don't confuse a mormon with a person that makes money
Witty: mormons are very interested in making money
Archie: The Marriott's are Mormon and sell porn in their hotels.

freakazoid: Ingles was trying to take Hood's head off so that Quin would have to bench him for concussion protocol
Hekate: there should be different rule for kicked ball if the quarter is ending.
str8line: "He took the curl out of that spectator's hair I guarantee you" Boler bringing it.
Archie: Lol
Archie: I missed that. Damn.
Archie: I'm watching the Warriors feed.
Witty: it'll be a miracle if we are even competitive in the second half
str8line: When Jingles fired a rocket into the crowd.
str8line: Yeah, they are gonna get pissed and stomp.
str8line: Donovan might be pissed too though.

Hell of a line by boler

str8line: Uh oh. Good catch. Injured?
str8line: Klay Thompson with only 4 points.
str8line: That's not gonna last.
Hekate: 3rd foul on Durant
yamers: thats it
MDAV28: Should've been an offensive foul on Durant
str8line: GS #1 in third quarter in NBA. Reminds me of how Mailman, Stock Jazz used to crush fools coming out of halftime.
Jazz4ever: Shot 32% last night, 35% tonight, trash offense
yamers: thats it
str8line: Rubi-Oh-****.
Archie: Jazz offense is historically bad.
yamers: the offensive juggernaut of rubio
yamers: was our offense this bad during the trey burke days?
yamers: or is this worse?
yamers: cant remember
str8line: Don needs to get it going soon.
Saint: no it isnt
Jazzta: The problem is we aren't deffensively as good as we should be either
Saint: Jazz have the 17th ranked offensive this year
str8line: Man the phones for Faves.
Archie: Historically bad, dude.
yamers: nvm
MDAV28: Never finished about 16th ranked offense with Trey Burke
Jazzta: We need Gobert back, a hungry Gobert
yamers: was 24th in burke day
yamers: 17th now
Saint: archie do you just speak out of your **** all the time?
Archie: Probably the worst offense we've ever seen.
Archie: Ever. Fact.
str8line: Oh ****. Klay's back.
Jazzta: The Stockton-Malone-Hornacek team?
str8line: Damn, 8-1 run to start half.
str8line: Yes, they were killers coming out of the half back in late 90's.
Jazzta: Williams-Boozer-AK?
yamers: u rly think its that bad?
