Jazz waive Brock Motum

Sad that some of these guys simply don't get an extended opportunity to produce. With what little he played, he played well, but didn't play enough to a point where he could produce enough to force the team to keep him. Such is sports, I guess. Brock, we hardly knew ye.

Could have also been something Brock requested. If he's going to be buried on the bench and not get any PT, it's better to sign overseas for better money than the D-League and get minutes.

Does anyone know if the D-League rules have changed? Used to be that outside of the two you could assign from your roster, all other contracts were signed with the league. The teams would pay the players, but their rights belonged to the D-League. However, I keep reading about some guys with partially guaranteed contracts getting released, but agreeing to play for that teams D-League affiliate. Maybe just out of loyalty, but those guys are FA's, IINM.

Jesus beasly is a knucklehead. Was one of the first to be cut which tells me they saw his attitude and said no ****ing way. Sad for my UNLV boys, but birch has a place in the league imo.

Ya Beasley has no chance landing here.

I'm not too disappointed by this. I liked him alright, but now I'm looking forward to not having to notice how close together his eyes are every time I watch the Jazz play. He is almost as bad as Deandre Jordan.

Not bad.

Why the hell are they not cutting Murray? Dude never saw hardly any court time, and seemed like an after thought.

Q Miller was cut by Denver. I still think he has upside, and liked what I saw last year when the jazz played the nuggets
